Junior Volunteer Program (15-17 years old)
Adult Volunteer Program (18 years and older)


Minimum Time Commitment
Our minimum commitment for our volunteers is 8 hours a month for the first six months. After the first six months, we require all volunteers to maintain a minimum of 5 hours per a month (excluding the month of December.)


Teamwork!
Our volunteers work with staff, other volunteers, customers, AND animals. Volunteers need to be comfortable working with the public and able to work with others.

1. Sign up and pay for the appropriate Volunteer Orientation through IrvineQuickReg registration system. 
You will need to have family account set up in the system prior to registering.

• If you are 15-17 years old, register for a Junior Volunteer Orientation.
• If you are 18+ years old, register for an Adult Volunteer Orientation.

2. Attend the Volunteer Orientation that you are registered in and complete the required paperwork and training. (Social Security number required)
