A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer system for assembling, storing, manipulating and displaying data which contains physical locations (geographic coordinates) of features and information about those features (attribute data).
The City of Irvine GIS/Mapping program is designed to provide maps and parcel data to City Departments and the public. Our system consists of a land basemap with many layers which depict location based information. Parcels, Land Use, Zoning, Flood Zone, Public Works inventories, Planning Areas, City Boundaries, Parks and Building Addresses is included in this system.
For information regarding what services are available, call (949) 724-6343, or fax a request to (949) 724-6440.
The City's GIS internet site will allow you to obtain information such as tract and lot information, Assessor's Parcel Number (APN), General Plan, zoning, and flood zone data about a particular parcel.
You may search the parcel by using address, cross streets, Tract and Lot number, APN or just zoom and click on an interactive map. You may also print a report with details of a parcel along with the map of that parcel
