| The Irvine Global Village Festival welcomes more than 13,000 guests to celebrate Irvine’s cultural diversity and experience sights, sounds, and tastes of the world representing upwards of 50 cultures. Guests enjoy the mosaic of music and dance on five stages; immerse themselves in cultural and religious displays; indulge in international cuisine; and shop in the world marketplace. This family focused event tantalizes tots with hands-on art projects, games, puppet shows, and activities in a giant, interactive Kids Village. The event was promoted as the #1 activity to attend in OC by OC Register and was highlighted at the Best Festival for 2009 by OC Weekly. |

| Limited Public Forum The purpose of Irvine Global Village Festival is to enhance the mission of the City of Irvine as well as highlight local businesses and organizations who share the promotion of cultural awareness, understanding, and harmony. The Irvine Global Village Festival is a non-political event, disallowing political statements and messages. Nothing in this Irvine Global Village Festival or in the creation of opportunities for businesses and organizations is intended to open City events, including the Irvine Global Village Festival, into public forums of general speech and/or public expression. To the extent any City event, site, project or program is designed for a specific purpose or public message, such event, site, project or program shall remain a limited public forum subject to the City’s exclusive use and control. An area has been designated to reflect the City’s support of free speech consistent with the conduct of the Festival. We invite individuals and organizations who wish to share their messages to set-up in the designated area located on the grass area adjacent to Harvard. The area is marked by signs outlining the boundaries. |
